The physical versus the metaphysical
This series of work seeks to explore the delicate balance between the physical and metaphysical worlds, where the tangible and intangible coexist in a dynamic, often unseen, dialogue. In creating these pieces, I draw from the intersection of science, spirituality, and human experience, investigating how the material world shapes, defines, and limits our understanding of the immaterial forces that govern existence.
Through various media—whether it be painting, sculpture, or mixed media—I strive to visualize the invisible threads that bind us to a higher order, from energy fields to emotional currents. I am fascinated by the tension between what can be physically perceived and the deeper, often unexplainable forces that influence our lives. My work challenges the viewer to reconsider the boundaries of reality, questioning where the physical ends and the metaphysical begins.
In this exploration, I am particularly interested in the concept of duality—how opposing forces such as light and shadow, presence and absence, form and void, continuously interact and inform one another. These contrasts become metaphors for our constant search for balance between the material and spiritual, the seen and unseen.
Ultimately, my work is an invitation to engage with the unknown, to open oneself to the mystery of what lies beyond the senses, and to reflect on the invisible energies that shape our lives in ways we cannot always grasp.
These pieces are made using a combination of precious metals, paint and gemstones.
