I'd give you the sun

$475.00

This piece is part of my Perceptions in Color series that an exploration into the concept of color psychology and its power to evoke emotion and create  atmosphere. By using a combination of bold, vibrant hues and subtle, muted tones, I seek to tap into the viewer’s subconscious and elicit a visceral response. Each painting is a study in the way color can influence mood, perception, and even physical sensations.

With this piece I have chosen to create it entirely in metal and utilized acrylic paint to achieve the color. I’m attempting to meld my Liminal and Perceptions in Color series. I’m intrigued that the reflective surface of the metal acts like a mirror bringing the viewer into the piece.

The piece measures 4.75” x 5.25” x 1”
